The UK Gonvernment introduced the Energy Capital Allownace scheme in 2001. The scheme allows 100% capital allownce on energy saving technology providing the installed equipment is new and is included in the Energy Technology List, or can be independantly assessed as meeting the criteria for ECA. Equipment that is eligable for ECA includes PLC & SCADA controlled heating, lighting, control systems and many other energy optimised equipment. Certain Bock compressors meet the criteria for ECA when used for refrgeration or heat pumps. Ourgate Productions can help advise you on selection of the correct energy saving items that will comply with the ECA scheme. The ECA scheme in it's self is a big incentive to upgrade old equipment for energy efficient counterparts, but the saving in energy bills is also a major bonus in most cases.
